The 1st Korea Open Memory Championship was held in Seoul, Korea. The competition was co-organized by AMSC, IAM and KMSC. About 200 competitors from over 10 countries participated. It was a biggest memory competition that has been held in Korea.

The prize money of the championship was 30 million KRW in total which was sponsored by the Korea Tourism Organization of Seoul and Arrow English Co., Ltd. This successful championship will help the continuous growth of the memory sports in Korea.
